With 22,000 kilometers on the speedo I bought 1997 my second-hand 1984s
California 2.
Since it was lying around with the previous possessor for a long time,
it was quite dirty. After a thorough inspection as well as exchange of the large end
bearing at the Nuremberg Guzzi dealer and a thorough cleaning of me a
piece of jewelry came out. With it it is fun with driving. At kilometers 32,000, unfortunately, the coupling broke.
The gear wheels were beaten out, presumable by rust and long stand.
In between it has 50,000 kilometers on the speedo and since a new
coupling was installed, no more problems have appeared.
Since there is no more official Guzzi repair shop in Nuremberg, I go to
Bechhofen near Ansbach to the Inteam (http://www.inteam-guzzi.de).
