Impressions of the V700

Impressions of the V700 by James Palma:

I went to ITALY in 1968 and a motto Guzzi caught my eye it was a sport 125 Stornello. It was a great bike to learn on HAD NEVER RODE BEFORE) and if you survive the way they drive in Italy you can drive any where in the world under any condition (LOL). A few months later Guzzi came out with there first shaft driven V motor it was a beauty will send in pic of it to post) so I got one and was off and running. I love it but to me the center of gravity was higher than my 850T/3 or my CENTAURO (I HAVE NEVER DROPPED THESE BIKES ). But the V7 I dropped ever other day I learned right there never to drink beer and ride also not to get to close to asphalt trucks your leg can smart while the bike and the exhaust pipe is laying on it) Well I put over 100,000+ miles and saw most of Europe .I wish I brought it back with me I owed her so much .....JAMES R PALMA..Albany,NY..MGNOC # L-663..AMA #538847..AOPA #00153047 maxok@nycap.rr.com
