Mothers welcome...This
is Mothers Day weekend
Last year we had 89 total show up. This is a friendly, bring your own
stuff, fend for yourself type of get together. I will put on a poker run and
there'll be a bottomless coffee pot and countless pastries to munch on, as well
as some prizes for the furthest riders and last year I gave both halves of the
50/50 away to visitors due to the generous donations that were given to help
offset costs.
Let's not forget about the bon fires...I try and get them a 'little' bigger each
year...When the fire department shows up, I'll know I went too far
Oh yeah, a lot of folks enjoyed the local wineries, caves, casinos, canoeing,
enjoying their beverage of choice while visiting, or just riding these here
endless crooked roads of the Ozarks (please be careful, as these roads can be
very unforgiving as I found out 3 years ago).
So, do your significant other a favor and bring them to the Ozarks this year for
a relaxing Guzzi get together (or come alone). We've have sunshine the first 3
years and I hope the 4th time is even better. The nights are about 55 degrees
and the days get up to around 80.
See you here!
P.S. Bring your earplugs as these Ozark critters don't care what time you
want to sleep until
For those not wanting to camp, there are motels in Neosho, Missouri (10 miles north).
